"Curlycue" by Pollack

I love this beautiful fabric by Pollack. Very pretty and feminine. I see a Celtic knot in there. I would love to this fabric on a vanity chair or a bed bench.

Where would you use this fabric?

Gray and White Damask

20897 "Nickel" Damask by Duralee Fabrics

duralee-fabric

How to use it: This fabric would look great in a Transitional style interior. The classic Damask motif, (pronounced "dam-isk", NOT "da-mask" ), paired with a current colorway and contemporary styling (big and bold!) make it great for Transitional styles. This is a large pattern- so it should also be used on larger things...drapery panels, bedding, upholstered headboard. This should not be used on small throw pillows, small benches or small ottomans, etc. because the pattern will get lost and be incomplete.

Product Description: Espresso or Nickel (pictured here) colorway. 27" x 27" pattern repeat, 54" width. 100% cotton.

Retail Price: $45 per yard

Cashmere Bed Blanket

Cashmere Bed Blanket

How to use it:

-Fall, Winter, and early Spring bed blanket for master suite and guest suite beds- the ultimate luxury that both makes a statement, creates a seriously cozy slumber, and will last a long time with proper care.

-This bed blanket can be cut and re-sewn (by the proper hands only- I do not recommend this as a DIY project) to make a double-ply throw, or up to three single-ply throws for the family room, personal home theater, library or the reading chair in the guest suite. Its very hard to find cashmere by the yard, so cutting up a throw or a large sweater is a little trade secret you can keep in your hat.

-Be sure to professionally clean as needed (but not over-clean!), unless express alternative washing instructions are given on the care label.

-During the off season, wrap the blanket in a piece of cotton muslin then store in a quality, natural-material box. Don't forget a cedar block for your linen closet.

-Enjoy with every fiber of your being. Sweet dreams!

How to get it: This particular blanket is a real value for a decent cashmere bed blanket. Its from Frontgate- available online as their Premium Quality "Alessandra Cashmere Blanket". The only other cashmere bed blankets I trust enough to recommend are made by Frette; however, they cost about 4 times more- but they are truly the ultimate in cashmere bed blankets.

Retail Price: $1300 Queen / $1600 King
